Thoughts

I first met cath when she only had the amazing Brandon. She lived with me for about 8 months and was the best house guest I ever had. We had some fun..too much to mention on here.... then the boys came along and I was there with her then...this is sounding like it's about me.....but it's not it's about the anazing friend I knew and the amazing mother she was. And daughter too, she needed Jan and loved her totally. I miss you Cath...rest in peace baby girl

Catherine may have been my best friend, but she was also so much more than that. She was a loving daughter, a partner and a friend, but by far her greatest achievement was becoming a mother to her 4 amazing children. Catherine was the strongest woman I have ever met. She was fiercely loyal to those she loved, and she would fight in their corner with everything she had inside of her. She was an amazing mother to all 4 of her beautiful children, and without a doubt, their greatest ally. Catherine was ridiculously independent, often to the point it would drive us all crazy because she would rarely ask for help. Life for Catherine was always crazy and chaotic, but no matter stressful life became, she was always there to give help to anyone who needed it. Over the years Catherine has been involved in many different groups and charities, which is how we met, and we soon became great friends. She was always very passionate about helping organisations that at some point had supported her family in one way or another. As a result she always had a wealth of knowledge and strength to share with others. Catherine really was a beautiful person inside and out, and her very sudden passing has left a deep hole within her family that can never be healed. She will be desperately missed by everyone who loved her, and I for one feel truly blessed to have known her and been able to call her a true friend, she will always be remembered and she will always have a very special place in my heart. Love always Lisa x
